Iquitos, Peru is one of the most unique cities in all of Peru. A warm city with many activities, Iquitos is the northern gateway to the Peruvian Amazon basin and is a romantic, quaint city steeped in unique culture and fascinating history. Iquitos is generally considered the largest in the world that cannot be reached by road, only by airplane or boat and has a great mix of new and old world feel with its surrounding by many indigenous tribes. Most travel within the city itself is via bus, motorcycle, or auto (mototaxi, motocarro or motokar).
Accommodations will include everything from when you
arrive at the

Airport
until your departure. All transportation, meals,
lodging, and guided tours are included with this price
(airfare and hotel lodging in the city of Iquitos is not included in the price but we can help you to make arrangements, please inquire for more information).
Using a combination of motorized buggies, private cars,
canoes, speed boats and/or ferries, guests are taken
to the Maniti Camp, located in the interior of the
jungle. Lodging is in traditional, authentic,
stilted thatched-roof style house with private
bungalows protected with mosquito nets and plenty of
hammocks. At night camp is lit with kerosene lamps.
Typical food of fish, chicken, and beef will be
served for meals. Salads, fruits, and vegetable of
the season will also be served with meals. Special
food is available for vegetarians upon request.
